The Medical Campus

The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus was founded in 2001 and brings together health care, research and medical education institutions on about 120 acres just north of downtown. Its members include Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Kaleida Health with Buffalo General Medical Center and the John R. Oishei Children's Hospital, and the University at Buffalo's Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

A walkable commute

The campus is within walking distance of 430 Virginia Street. For trips further afield, the Allen/Medical Campus Metro Rail station sits beneath the Jacobs School at Main and High streets, on the line between downtown and the university. Downtown Buffalo, Delaware Park and Canalside are each under ten minutes away.
